Schedule your Discovery Call (which takes place over Zoom) with Jennifer to discuss what you can expect and any desires you have for the session. Begin envisioning your session and view her gallery of work to get inspired.

We will book the session for 4-6 weeks before your due date.

The day of the session should be the only big event you have on your calendar that day. Plan to make it a date day and go out for a nice lunch afterward if possible.

One week before

Pamper yourself. This is a good time to get your hair and nails done. We don’t offer Hair and Makeup as part of our package, but Jennifer does offer suggestions for how to do your hair and makeup.

If regular moisturizing isn’t already part of your daily routine, now is a good time to start.

Make sure you have the address of the studio and drive time worked out. We have free parking available.

One day before

You have 2 jobs today. Get a good night’s sleep and drink lots of water. We want you well rested and your skin to look luminous for your session tomorrow.

Remove any items that will leave marks on your skin. This includes your bra, socks, tights, watch, and don’t forget that hair band on your wrist. It’s also a good idea to moisturize your full body when you get out of the shower.

Have a light breakfast and pack some snacks and any other personal items you may need during the session.

Take a deep breath and trust your photographer! With more than 25 years of experience, Jennifer has learned how to paint with light to capture moments and feelings that create compelling photographs of you and your family.
