Maternity and Family Photography during COVID-19—What my studio is doing to protect you

Hi Friends, I want to you to know our continued strategy to keep us safe which has been successful thus far.

Jennifer is currently only photographing one client or family a day. She wears a mask when she flys to clients when in the airplane and airport for added protection. In between sessions, we mop, open windows, wipe down, wash and disinfect everything. All Artistic Consultations, Discovery Sessions, and non-essential meetings are still held over Zoom. As you can imagine, this means that my schedule books up quickly. I recommend planning in advance if possible. 

Please know that we will do the same to protect you and your loved ones as we will do for our own.

STUDIO COVID PROTOCOLS

1. I take a COVID test before every photography session and will reschedule if I have any symptoms even if I am negative.

2. We continue to do a top to bottom cleaning of the studio including wiping down all surfaces with a bleach solution and paying extra attention to high traffic areas like doorknobs, light switches, counters and bathrooms.

3. All studio gear is wiped down with disinfectant wipes after each session.

4. All Discovery Sessions are now done using Zoom. I can still show you around the studio and discuss all of the options. It is quite fun!

5. All Artistic Consultations (which are your order sessions) are now done via Zoom or video chats, also fun because I can see where we are going to hang your images.

6. If you or I have any symptoms before your session, we will reschedule at no cost to you.

7. We continue our longstanding policy of laundering any backdrop or item used or even just touched by a client during a session.

8. I will be temporarily suspending the amenity of offering espresso and light snacks in order to further protect your health. Please plan on bringing any beverages/snacks you may require.

9. We are requiring all people over the age of 12 be vaccinated in order to be in the studio.

10. I am fully vaccinated and boosted.

11. We use an air purifier throughout the day.

 Additional policies:

Should anyone cough/sneeze/use the restroom/etc mid-shoot, they should wash hands. There is a sink in our studio for hand washing and hand sanitizer is available. We will continue with our ‘no shoes’ policy in the studio area, asking that you leave your shoes near the door.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS

Should you, your family member, or anyone close to you come in contact with or start to exhibit the symptoms of Corona Virus, please contact us by email, text, Instagram, or phone to reschedule your session. We promise to make it work and would rather play it as safe as possible. Thank you and I hope you and yours stay healthy and safe.
