Internships - Three or six months
10-12 hours a week, for class credit
Internships are offered on a revolving basis depending upon need in the following areas of focus:
Photography Internship in Seattle and San Francisco:
This internship offers hands on experience working with Jennifer and her photo divas to edit, scan, archive and enhance images for portfolios, exhibitions, promotional books and the web. Interns will learn about running a small successful photography business that is regionally as well as nationally recognized. The right person should be have a good understanding of Photoshop 7.0 or higher, Illustrator 8.0 or higher, scanning and image enhancement, as well as an interest in photography. There are opportunities to assist Jennifer with maternity or pregnancy shoots, as well as to work with her during an edit with her clients. All interns meet with Jennifer once a week to look at their photographs and discuss a variety of topics relevant to young photographers including finding a personal vision, choosing a genre of photography, editing a successful portfolio, running a small business.

Seattle, San Francisco and New York:
Part-time photographers are always being considered
Part-time contract position
Individuals are being considered for assisting with photographing pregnant women, children and families in Seattle. Right candidate must have at least five years experience photographing people, with at least three years of photojournalism experience. Sales or retail experience is a bonus. Other office or administrative experience is also helpful.
