In the Media

Jennifer has been featured in many publications and on TV and most of it has been luck. Her first TV spot was an accident because she actually went to interview the camera man about how to do video for nonprofit organizations. The camera man had done his homework and said "Hey, don't you photograph pregnant women?" Surprised she said "Yes, but don't tell anyone. I can't have the Gates Foundation, Newsweek or CARE coming to my site and seeing nipples." But he thought that she would make a great story for Mother's Day and her phone hasn't stopped ringing since. (Years ago, Jennifer was told by many professional photographers that women would never pay to have themselves photographed pregnant so she pursued a Master's in documentary photography.) Now, she has someone help her if she gets a media request because sometimes it is a bit overwhelming. But the media has helped her not only get her message out that pregnant women are beautiful, but also legitimized her profession as a maternity photographer internationally (not to mention that now her parents and friends take her seriously).
