“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” -Aaron Siskind.
Isn’t September such a beautiful month!? This is the time of year where summer winds down, the leaves start changing, there’s just a bit of chill in the air. Let’s not forget it can be an exciting time for the kids going back to school. Back to school time can be wonderful for both children AND parents. It’s a fresh start to the school year for the kids with shiny new pencils and clean white paper. It can also be a little reprieve for the parents from a busy summer.
Parents alike can agree that their children grow up all too fast. One day you look at that precious face at 9 weeks old, next thing you know they’re going to their first day of kindergarten. Children grow up before our eyes, making it hard to remember years later how small they were, or that special smile. Professional family photographs and baby photographs are a great way to capture each stage of their development and each nuance of your relationship.
How fun would it be to have a photo of your daughters first day of kindergarten shared at her wedding, or to share your son’s last day of preschool at high school graduation?
As time presses on it becomes harder to get everyone together for a nice family portrait. Why not use this time of year to take the time and get those precious baby or family photos?Sometimes we don’t realize how important family photographs are until it’s too late.

We dug deep into our archive to show you both of Heidi’s pregnancies and how their children and family have grown up, and the special moments between them. As a special bonus, they took these photos to show their special family photographs hanging proudly in their house.
